Fall Festival on November 5

We will have our annual Lord’s Acre celebration, or Fall Festival on November 5 in the public school cafeteria.

A Texas-style roast beef dinner with sides of carrot salad and potato casserole will be served from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.  This year for the first time we are trying a sit-down dinner instead of cafeteria-style.  Take a seat at a table and a server will bring your plate.

Takeouts will also be available starting at 11:00 am.

A beautiful quilt will be auctioned.  For many years the Methodist quilters have created a special quilt for the occasion.  Lois says this will be the last one.  That’s been said before but this time it could really be true.

Various other hand-crafted items and art-work will also be available. Bonnie Dickson has donated one of her famous bluebonnet landscapes. Cakes and pies will be sold for take-home or to eat at the premises.

Funds raised will benefit church projects and missions.
